Feedback on student work

This student feedback sheet shows what is needed for a successful product. Each example i have analysed has been graded low, as they contain several areas of improvement. These areas are key to get the highest grades possible. The main image needs to be of high quality and it needs to have a good eye line match. The colours of the image need to be carefully thought about, whether it should be edited or not. Should it be in colour? Or in black and white? It needs to compliment the colour scheme of the rest of the magazine. If an image is pixalated this is going to look unprofessional. Also the choice of images for my contents page and double page spread are important, mainly for the double page spread the images used need to link with the image on the front cover along with the article subject. Within the article as well as the rest of the product, spelling and grammar is very important as a professional magazine would have no mistakes, and the aim is to create a product that is the quality of a publish magazine. The article must be relevent to the genre of the magazine which is music so depending on the type of artist or band the magazine is based on will help chose what the article will be based on, for example i have chosen to do an up and coming artist who is a bit querky and essentailly 'indie' therefore my images will represent this and my article will be based on how she began and where and what she is doing now.
Good - you appear to have learned a lot about the construction of your own product from this task.
